The Oklahoma State men's basketball team couldn't push past Villanova.
In the second round of the AdvoCare Invitational, the Wildcats defeated the Cowboys 77-58 on Friday in Orlando, Florida.
Villanova, last season's NCAA Tournament winner, jumped to a 6-0 lead and never trailed. The Wildcats outrebounded OSU 39-26.
The Cowboy defense couldn't contain Eric Paschall, a Villanova senior forward. He finished with a game-high 22 points and went 8-for-13 from the field.
Mike Cunningham, a graduate transfer from University of South Carolina-Upstate, came off the bench to lead the Cowboys with 15 points. Cunningham, who made his OSU debut in the Cowboys' first game of the AdvoCare Invitational, also added three rebounds and an assist.
