Cowboys fall in final game of Clay Gould Classic

The Cowboys (2-2) scored three runs in the top of the 10th, but the Lumberjacks rallied for the walk-off victory with four runs in their half of the frame.

With one out in the bottom of the tenth, shortstop Tyler Kendrick singled up the middle, scoring two runs to give SFA (2-1) the victory.

Right-hander Remey Reed (1-1) was the losing pitcher. He entered in the ninth inning with the bases loaded and nobody out, pitching out the jam with a pair of strikeouts and a lineout.

In the 10th, Reed allowed hits to the first three SFA batters, including a two-run triple by Garrett McMullen.
