On Saturday, mayhem struck the city of Stillwater.
A goal post was snapped in half and migrated across campus to Theta Pond and, of course, a field was stormed after Oklahoma State’s 27-24 win over rival Oklahoma.
But amid the brouhaha and hoopla attached to Saturday’s thriller, the same array of emotions didn’t quite follow with OSU coach Mike Gundy.
“I went home to my couch and ate with my dogs and laid on my couch and watched (college football) games,” Gundy said. “They love when I come home because I give them free food when I’m not supposed to, but I do.
