Thanks to the impressive late play of junior Tristan Meraut, the No.18 Oklahoma State men’s tennis team defeated UCF 4-0 on Friday night.
After a tight start, winning the doubles point 2-1 thanks to senior Julian Cash and sophomore Mathieu Scaglia securing the second point on court 3, 7-6(6), the Cowboys managed to secure three straight points on their way to the 4-0 victory.
The Cowboys strong first sets in singles, in which they won four of six, ultimately led to their sweep.
Freshman phenom Luke Hammond cruised to a 6-3, 6-3 victory against UCF’s Eero Vasa to secure the first singles point.
