Cowboys edge past Arizona State in last game of series

In an extra inning, the Oklahoma State baseball team found the spark it needed to snap its losing streak.

After dropping three straight games, including the first two in its series against Arizona State, the Cowboys claimed a 3-2 victory against the Sun Devils on Sunday afternoon in Phoenix.

Carson Teel, OSU’s winning pitcher, ensured there wasn’t an 11th inning, as he allowed no runs in the bottom of the 10th. Teel (1-0), a southpaw, pitched for seven straight innings after he replaced starting pitcher C.
