Oklahoma State's Alex Dieringer and the Cowboys ruled the mat against Army on Friday in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Friday night, Army’s wrestling team attempted to invade Gallagher-Iba Arena and steal a victory from the fourth-ranked Cowboys.
Instead, they exited Stillwater after allowing a season-high in points, while recording a season-low. Oklahoma State has been on an absolute tear; if its 36-3 drubbing of Army wasn’t enough evidence, its nine-dual win streak should be.
The dual exhibited four wrestlers scoring bonus points for OSU (11-2). The 36-point outburst was two points from the Cowboys’ season-high.
During the 165-pound match, it looked like Alex Dieringer, OSU’s most-dominant wrestler, was going to fail to record bonus points for only the second time this season.
