The Oklahoma State Cowboys hosted the No. 5 USC Trojans coming off their undefeated weekend. Last season, the Cowboys traveled to Los Angeles to take on the Trojans, and that match up resulted in a 6-1 loss for the Cowboys.
This time, the Cowboys flipped the script.
The Cowboys took down the Trojans, 6-1. The last time the Cowboys took down a top-5 team was in 2020 when the Cowboys defeated Michigan, 4-0. This is coach Dustin Taylor’s first top-5 win with the Cowboys, and he said this win is a statement.
“When you're building the program from one player on the roster two-and-a-half years ago to beating a top-five team in the third season that we've all been here, that's special,” Taylor said.
