Don’t pack away Oklahoma State’s uniforms just yet.
The Cowboys are going to need them this week – at the NCAA Tournament.
OSU completed a stirring and stunning run to the Big 12 Tournament title Sunday, holding off Texas, 6-5, before a Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark crowd packed with friendly fans to claim the conference’s automatic bid into the postseason.
Arriving at Bricktown as the No. 8 seed and projected well off the radar of NCAA Tournament projections, the Cowboys ripped off four straight wins to answer a call to wear the uniform one more day.
Now they’re guaranteed two more days, at least, with their postseason destination coming Monday when the NCAA reveals its 64-team bracket.
