With a 3-1victory Sunday against South Carolina, the Cowboys (41-20) won their Super Regional two games to none.
All three runs came in the fifth. With a squeeze bunt, Corey Hassel gave OSU a 1-0 lead. Donnie Walton followed with an RBI single. Hassel then scored thanks to an error when Walton stole second.
Tyler Buffett continued a run of dominant OSU pitching. He allowed one run in seven innings, taking a shutout into the eighth. Through five NCAA Tournament games, all victories, the OSU pitching staff has allowed six runs.
This is Cowboys' first trip to Omaha, Nebraska, for the College World Series since 1999, when coach Josh Holliday was a senior on the team.
