CLEVELAND, Ohio — Call them underdogs. They don't care, and they certainly won't act like it when they step onto the mat.
The Oklahoma State wrestling team advanced five wrestlers from the round of 16 to the quarterfinals of the 2018 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
OSU came into the round of 16 on Thursday with six of its nine competing wrestlers still unbeaten, and advanced to the second day of the tournament with half of the 10 weights still represented by the Pokes.
"I will say, I was pleased with the night," Coach John Smith said.
