Cowboys able to overcome Oral Roberts shooting to stay undefeated

For the second game in a row, Oklahoma State’s opponent shot over 45% from 3-point range.

Led by Max Abmas’ 36 points, Oral Roberts shot nearly 50% from behind the arc, including multiple from near the mid-court logo.

Oral Roberts’ first 12 points came from behind the arc. However, the Cowboys were able to stick out the Oral Roberts onslaught to keep the lead throughout much of the game.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for coach (Pat) Wells and his program,” coach Mike Boynton said. “They've got some talent, and he’s done a great job putting those kids in position to have success.
