The Oklahoma State wrestling team finished the weekend with a 23-9 road victory against Minnesota.
The No. 4 Cowboys started off strong Sunday with victories at 125 and 133 pounds, coming from Nick Piccininni and Daton Fix, respectively.
In Fix’s second match of his career, he upset No. 6 Ethan Lizak, who was a 2017 NCAA finalist, 6-1.
OSU’s Kaden Gfeller replaced Boo Lewallen, his injured teammate, at 149 and upset No. 18 Tommy Thorn 9-3.
With Chandler Rogers at 165, Jacobe Smith at 174 and Dakota Greer at 184, the Cowboys came away with three straight major decisions.
