Four newcomers led the Oklahoma State wrestling team to victory when they made their Gallagher-Iba Arena debuts.
The Cowboys defeated Wyoming 27-6 on Sunday.
The final match of the dual put freshman Daton Fix, the No. 9 wrestler at 133 pounds, against No. 11 Montorie Bridges. Bridges is a former All-American and a native of Altus, Oklahoma. After going down 1-0 in the first period, Fix scored a reversal in the final period along with a second point from riding time to come away with a 2-1 victory.
Smith said he knows Fix has a lot of room to grow.
