Freshman year of college hits everyone differently.
Many students quickly adjust to living on their own, making sure they’re on time to class and have enough time to study. Some take a little more time than others.
Then, there are collegiate athletes, who have the same responsibilities as their fellow students, but also spend a significant amount of time playing sports.
For the Oklahoma State football team, leaders have stepped up to help their freshmen teammates adjust to the life of a collegiate athlete.
“(The players) seem to do a good job of coaching each other,” head coach Mike Gundy said.
