One game after Kentrevious Jones made his Big 12 debut, he didn’t join his teammates on Eddie Sutton Court.
Jones, a freshman forward/center, was suspended from the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team because of an unspecified rules infraction. Jones wasn’t on the bench during the Cowboys’ 73-69 loss to Baylor on Monday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
“At this point, it’s completely up in the air as to whether he’ll return or not,” Mike Boynton, OSU’s coach, said. “It’s all pretty fresh. That’s something that we’ll have to deal with.”
This isn’t the first time Jones has faced consequences for violating team standards.
