Another day, another day of silence out of Stillwater concerning Travis Ford and the Cowboys coaching job.
Far away however, in Bowling Green, Kent., news emerged that could impact Ford and Oklahoma State.
Western Kentucky coach Ray Harper, who once coached Oklahoma City University to two national championships, resigned Thursday amid the revelation that three WKU players had been suspended following a University Disciplinary Committee hearing.
As of Thursday night, no details concerning the suspensions, or anything linking Harper to the player discipline were known.
The school released a statement from athletic director Todd Stewart:
“I would like to thank Ray Harper for his many contributions to our program over the past eight years,” Stewart said.
