Class of 2019 defensive end prospect Collin Clay, a three-star recruit from Putnam City High in Oklahoma City, will make his long-anticipated college commitment on Thursday night he announced today. It’s two months earlier than his previously planned September 21 decision day.
Clay, a 6-3.5, 261-pound edge-rusher, has 20 scholarship offers to his name. But he’ll be picking between five on Thursday — and he told Jacob Unruh of The Oklahoman that he’s already made his choice.
In the mix
After trimming his list recently, Clay’s decision comes down to five: Oklahoma State, Georgia, Arkansas, TCU and Oregon.
