As I made my way to my seat around 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, I could tell that things were going to be different.
My first indication came a few minutes earlier when I was walking to the stadium. I saw zero tailgaters, as well as no pre-game festivities outside of Boone Pickens Stadium. However, once I was in the stadium, things felt fairly normal — until about an hour before kickoff.

While the team was going through its pregame routine on the field, people began to file into their seats like normal.
