Lea Hopson and Kierra Miles hit home runs on Sunday, lifting Texas Tech over Oklahoma State 9-1 in Big 12 softball in Stillwater. The Red Raiders (20-24 overall, 4-7 Big 12) run-ruled the Cowgirls (19-26, 3-8) in six innings.
Hopson’s three-run homer in the third inning gave Texas Tech a 4-0 lead. The Red Raiders added a run in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth. That was more than enough for Tech pitcher Cara Custer, who held OSU to a run on six hits. She walked three and struck out two.
