STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State baseball team earned the 2,500th victory in program history Saturday, beating No. 10-ranked Baylor 10-4 at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak and kept OSU (25-12, 9-4 Big 12) on top of the Big 12 Conference standings.
Eight players had hits for the Cowboys, including two apiece from David Petrino and Tim Arakawa.
Starter Jon Perrin (4-3) got the victory for OSU, giving up six hits and just two earned runs in 6 1/3 innings.
Daniel Castano took the loss for Baylor (14-23, 4-9), giving up three earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.
