On the same day that Colin Clay was granted eligibility from the NCAA to play at Oklahoma State, he announced he had torn his ACL.
Clay, a sophomore from Putnam City, Oklahoma, transferred to OSU after a year at Arkansas. He decided to transfer after former Arkansas coach Chad Morris was fired.
Clay played in 11 of 12 games for the Razorbacks a year ago. He recorded 17 tackles in his first season.

Clay was set to provide depth to a veteran defensive line and see considerable time on the field.
