The Cowboys have snagged a third Oklahoma preps prospect in their 2024 recruiting class.
Will Smith, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound edge rusher from Choctaw, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Thursday. He joins Southeast High School’s Rodney Fields and Stillwater’s Josh Ford as 2024 Okies committed to the Pokes.
Smith chose Oklahoma State over offers from Iowa State, Texas State and Akron.
He recorded 34 tackles, eight tackles for loss, seven sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two pass breakups as a junior this past season. He also caught 21 passes for 445 yards and four scores.
