Cameron Epps has been awarded more than the glory of victory for his two-interception effort against the Wildcats this past weekend.
Epps, a redshirt freshman safety, was named the Big 12’s Newcomer of the Week for his part in Oklahoma State’s 29-21 win against Kansas State. Epps had a pair of picks, including a pick-six, to go with his five tackles and two pass breakups against K-State, all while making just his second start.
“He played really well,” OSU coach Mike Gundy said Monday. “The thing that he did that’s getting everybody’s attention is he finishes plays.
