Bryce Thompson committed to Oklahoma State on Thursday. Thompson was a five-star prospect from Booker T. Washington in Tulsa before spending his freshman season at Kansas.
OSU coach Mike Boynton was heavily involved in recruiting Thompson up until Thompson’s commitment to Kansas.
Thompson was the No. 21 player in the 2020 recruiting class, making him the top prospect from Oklahoma. He was a McDonald’s All-American and garnered offers from Kansas, North Carolina, Michigan State, Texas, Texas A&M, Iowa, Arkansas, Notre Dame and others out of high school.
