Brown, Holliday voted in Cowboy Baseball Hall of Fame

Corey Brown and Tom Holliday were announced as the hall’s newest members Thursday after a vote from a five-person committee.

Brown, an outfielder, was on the Oklahoma State baseball team for the 2005-07 seasons. He is in the OSU baseball top 10 in triples, walks, slugging percentage and home runs.

Brown was the 2005 Big 12 Freshman Player of the Year while also being named a Freshman All-American.

He was named to the all-conference team three times and was also a two time All-American.

Brown was a first-round pick by the Oakland Athletics in 2007 and has played 39 games in the majors.
