Brooklyn Nets rescind qualifying offer for Markel Brown

People around here have learned a lot about the rough side of professional sports this week. Unfortunately, it looks like former Oklahoma State Cowboy Markel Brown has learned a similar lesson. After making a qualifying offer last week, the Brooklyn Nets have reportedly rescinded that offer which would have paid the second year guard $1.08 million.
