The Houston Texans quarterback room has been a carousel for the past month. Brock Osweiller, who the Texans paid $72 million to in the offseason, was benched recently after egregious play in favor of Tom Savage. But during the last game of the regular season, Savage suffered a concussion and did not pass protocol. He is listed as inactive this weekend in the AFC wild card game against the Oakland Raiders.
That leaves Brandon Weeden as the backup this weekend to Osweiller.
Weeden has only been active this season for two games while Savage sat with an infected elbow, but hasn’t even seen the field.
