Mike Boynton continues to play well in the state of Oklahoma.
Brandon Garrison, the top-ranked 2023 prospect in the state of Oklahoma, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Thursday, via his Twitter account.
The Oklahoma City native chose the Cowboys over offers from the likes of Kansas, Florida, Houston, Oklahoma, LSU and Texas. In a chat with Pistols Firing’s Marshall Scott this spring, Garrison called OSU “his hometown school.”
The 6-foot-9, 205-pound center prospect was long considered a realistic OSU target. Being an in-stater no doubt helped, but Boynton coaching him with Team USA this summer may have helped seal the deal.
