He gulped down water as he tried to collect himself, speechless for a minute or so. Later, he said it was probably the first time his wife, Jennifer, who was sitting front row with his two children, saw him cry.
“I’m not usually an emotional guy,” Boynton said. “I don’t know where that came from. I apologize.
