Boone Pickens addressed the media on Saturday before his Pokes got rolling against Central Arkansas. He wasn’t as bold as usual (maybe he’s been reading OKC Dave’s fan survey?), but he did make some predictions for the year. He also talked about how much he still enjoys coming out to these fall evenings.
“I think we’ll have a good year this year,” he said. “I think we’re going to win nine or ten ballgames. If in error, I think it’d be on the short side. I think we’re going to have a good year.” So … 11 or 12?
