ARLINGTON, Texas – Josh Holliday sat at the podium and casually enjoyed a mango smoothie.
The OSU head coach was pleased with what he had just witnessed. He would have been thrilled with relief pitcher Ryan Bogusz lasting four or five innings. Maybe even three.
After all, Bogusz hadn’t pitched beyond four innings in a single game in his entire OSU tenure. Not to mention he was also making his first career start in a must-win game.

So when the right-handed pitcher didn’t exit the game until after eight innings of work in OSU’s 8-1 win over Texas on Saturday morning, the staff was ecstatic.
