One of the biggest takeaways from the Oklahoma State Cowboys’ victory over the Iowa State Cyclones was the return of quarterback Spencer Sanders for the Cowboys.
Sanders has been out with an ankle injury since the start of the opening game against Tulsa this season. Since then, Shane Illingworth has stepped up in his place leading the Cowboys to this amazing start of the season.
With Sanders' first game back against Iowa State deemed a success, it looks as though he is back at 100% from his injury.
Questions do arise over Illingworth’s place on this team with Sanders returning.
