It’s scary for other teams if this season’s Oklahoma State baseball team is the most talented in school history.
OSU has been one of the most successful college programs. The Cowboys have been to the College World Series 20 times.
Former coach Tom Holliday said the program has grown into a monster of expectations.
“Good coaches don’t want a program with no expectation,” Holliday said. “You want people to think you’re gonna be good.”
Holliday coached at OSU from 1978 to 2003, and he led the Cowboys to a College World Series in 1999.
“When I entered Oklahoma State in ‘77, it was a wide open possibility to get to Omaha and win it,” Holliday said.
