125: Oklahoma State’s Nick Piccininni has hit his stride as of late and earned the top seed at 125 pounds. He’s won his past eight matches, five of which were bonus-point victories.
Piccininni’s biggest obstacle in front of claiming his second Big 12 title is Utah Valley’s second-seeded Taylor LaMont, who is ranked eighth in the country. Piccininni is one spot ahead of LaMont at No. 7. The two haven’t wrestled this season and are both undefeated against conference foes.
Other ranked foes in the bracket include No. 14 Zeke Moisey of West Virginia and Oklahoma’s 16th-ranked Christian Moody.
