The Big 12's embarrassing member search continues with a series of video conferences. Commissioner Bob Bowlsby, reports ESPN, will hear presentations from 17 schools.
Seventeen.
Bowlsby will ride through the kingdom, looking for a glass slipper, while asking questions such as, do the lights in your stadium work? Or, do your defensive linemen weigh more than Texas' running backs?
The Big 12 job fair is another blight on the league. Other conferences, when confronted with the need for expansion or replacement schools, identify the best candidate, negotiate in secret and make a deal. Heck, that's what the Big 12 did back in 2011 with TCU and West Virginia.
