The All-Big 12 Conference football teams and individual award winners have been announced.
Selections are made by the league’s 10 head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own players.
A few quick notes:
- Bob Stoops was recognized as Chuck Neinas Coach of the Year for the fifth time (2008, 2006, 2003 and 2000).
- Baker Mayfield is the fourth Oklahoma quarterback to garner Offensive Player of the Year, joining Sam Bradford (2008), two-time winner Jason White (2003 and 2004) and Josh Heupel (2000).
- Dede Westbrook is the third representative from Oklahoma to earn Offensive Newcomer of the Year joining Adrian Peterson (2004) and Josh Heupel (1999).
