Big 12 leaders met this week in the desert and voted in tiebreakers to determine a champion while deciding against staging a football championship game in 2016.
These are poor decisions, and we know that because of who made them.
Expand, don’t expand. Title game, no title game. One True Champion, Two Pretty Good Squads. Doesn’t matter. Whichever road the Big 12 takes, you can be sure it will end on gravel, if not mud.
Nothing against commissioner Bob Bowlsby. In fact, I think he’s pretty sharp. Hiring Bowlsby sort of calls into question my theory that the Big 12 doesn’t know what it’s doing.
