Oklahoma is looking at the possibility of playing an international game in the future.
Asked whether OU might consider playing a men's basketball regular-season game internationally like Texas is doing next month in China, OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said there is a foreign locale that he has his eye on.
“There is actually,” he said while in Kansas City for Big 12 basketball media day, “but I'm not at liberty to disclose it.”
Castiglione said that he would be interested to hear about Texas' experience, the positives and the negatives, but that he has already been encouraged to look into the possibility by OU's increasing push for students to study abroad.
