STILLWATER — The reality that he was wrestling his last match in Gallagher-Iba Arena slowly set in over the weekend, and once the final buzzer sounded, Oklahoma State's Dean Heil wanted to make sure he saluted the fans who have backed him the last four years.
Heil waved to the sizable crowd that loudly cheered his win over Oklahoma's Mike Longo at 141 pounds Sunday afternoon as the Cowboys rolled to a 31-6 Bedlam victory.
Heil scored a last-second takedown to secure the 15-6 major decision.
