OSU’s win gave significance to Game 2, set for 7:05 p.m. Saturday. With a win, the Cowboys earn the final spot in next week’s Big 12 Tournament. A loss ends their season.
Entering Game 2, the Cowboys stand 25-25 overall and 7-14 in the Big 12, looking to overtake Kansas State, which is finished at 8-16 in conference play.
Oklahoma, firmly in the NCAA Tournament, fell to 34-18 overall and 12-10 in the conference.
