STILLWATER — Oklahoma State forward Mandy Coleman zipped across the lane and into perfect defensive position as Baylor's Kalani Brown turned toward the basket for what she thought was going to be an open layup.
The 6-foot-7 Brown stopped herself before bulldozing Coleman, leaned back and threw in an awkward shot from short range.
Even when the No. 21-ranked Cowgirls did the right things, it seemed to go wrong.
Third-ranked Baylor took control from the start on its way to an 87-45 win Tuesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Brown had a double-double by halftime. Her bucket over Coleman's outstretched arms gave the Bears a 34-13 lead midway through the second quarter and it didn't get any prettier for those in orange.
