Oklahoma State head basketball coach Mike Boynton isn’t quite done with his 2020 class, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing 2021 recruits.
OSU offered combination guard Hunter Sallis from Omaha (Millard North), Nebraska, on Friday. Rivals lists him as a five-star prospect, while 247Sports’ composite rankings have him as a four-star.
Sallis, the No. 30-ranked player in his class by 247Sports, quickly received a recruiting pitch on Twitter from 2020 prospect Donovan Williams of Lincoln, Nebraska. Williams listed OSU in his top six on March 17. Williams’ recent Twitter activity and advocating for Sallis is a good sign for OSU’s efforts to land his commitment.
