All in the family: coaching, family are constants in Littell's life

Jim Littell couldn’t relax.

He anxiously sat along the third baseline, flinching as a breaking ball headed toward the batter. With every pitch, the nervousness escalated.

Littell isn’t always stressed when he watches sports. Through the fall and winter, he often stands in front of the bench at Gallagher-Iba Arena, confident and animated as he leads the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team. Guiding a group of athletes is natural for Littell, who has coached basketball for 40 years.
