Alex Dieringer traveled to Kiev, Ukraine to take on some of the world’s best in the Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial this weekend and won the tournament in dominant fashion.
The former Cowboy wrestled at 79 kilograms and was the only American to bring home a gold. Dieringer knocked off four of the top twenty wrestlers in the world in the process, including Olympic Bronze Medalist Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan in the final.
There aren’t a ton of guys in wrestling media that specifically cover international wrestling, but Seth Petarra does it as good as any.
