A.J. Green’s 40 time at the NFL Combine earlier this year did nothing for his pro prospects. He ran the 40 in 4.62, which ranked close to last of the defensive backs who ran in Indianapolis.
So a bump in 40 at OSU’s pro day on Tuesday was paramount for him and whatever future he has playing in the NFL.
“[Scouts] want to see my speed,” Green said on Tuesday in Stillwater. “I put up a good number at the combine on the bench press. I feel like I am just stacking the chips.”
There were no official times released from OSU, but apparently Green hit the numbers he was looking for, according to the Oklahoman.
