Within hours of new name, image and likeness rules coming into effect, AJ Ferrari has inked an apparel deal.
Oklahoma State’s NCAA-champion wrestler announced via Twitter Thursday that he has entered a partnership with wrestling apparel company Nearfall for a line of shirts.
The shirts have various designs on the front and feature the “665 pound deadlift baby” catch phrase Ferrari uttered at the NCAA Championships this past school year.
It appears to be the first deal an OSU student-athlete has signed since the update NIL rules went into effect, but it won’t be the last.
