Oklahoma State's Katarina Adamovic defeated Vanderbilt's Sydney Campbell 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 on Wednesday to advance to the second round of the NCAA Women's Singles Tournament.
The Oklahoma State men’s and women’s tennis teams had competitors representing the university in the NCAA Singles Championships, but only Katarina Adamovic was able to advance to the second round Wednesday in the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Even after the heartbreaking 4-3 team National Championship loss for the Cowgirls, some of the most reliable OSU tennis fans still found the time to travel to Tulsa. The weather was not the greatest for an outdoor tennis event but no one was complaining as they watched Adamovic start her singles tournament play.
