Texas leads the all-time series against Oklahoma State in football 25-9, but it’s been one heck of a decade for the Pokes. They’ve won seven of the last 10 meetings against the Longhorns dating back to 2010 after winning just twice from 1916, when the series began, to 2009, when OSU really took it up a notch under Mike Gundy.
That’s a jarring stat, to be sure, but I’ll admit it’s a bit misleading. Texas and OSU faced off just five times between 1916 and 1943 — all Texas wins. And then the two programs faced off just five more times between 1944 and 1995.
