Second-year punter Tom Hutton had an incredibly productive day at the office on Saturday against West Virginia, booming six punts for an average of 44.8 yards. It tied for his best per-punt average in a game since he arrived in Stillwater a year ago (in games he punted at least twice).
On the whole, it was the most complete outing of his career by a mile, with both his distance and control working in his favor. So as he trotted out for his fifth (and penultimate) punt of the day Saturday, he thought fans had taken notice of his brilliance.
