The cover of the O'Colly extra section from Dec. 4, 1965, when Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma in football for the first time since 1945.

The pride, the jubilation, the shock that on Dec. 4, 1965, Oklahoma State defeated Oklahoma in a football game for the first time in 20 years.

Hargis was a junior at OSU in 1965 and a Sigma Nu fraternity brother with members of the team, including center Jim Click, offensive tackle Harold Akin and defensive end Dennis Randle.
